13 Week Ultrasound

I went in for the first trimester screen on Friday, one day from the 13 week mark. The heart rate was 173 beats per minute. The CRL was 67.4 mm and the NT was 2.0 mm. I will get the blood tests back probably toward the end of this week but so far, not really anything to be concerned about. Brett and Kyler were able to come with me to see the baby this time which was nice. At first, the baby wasn't moving a whole lot. We would see an arm come up once in a while and the mouth continuously opened and shut. But after a little bit the baby started arching its back and really moving around in there. Everything was reassuring since we had just started telling everyone. I am feeling pretty good now. Still a little nausea throughout the day but no more vomiting and my energy level is back within a functional range. I am pretty picky in terms of what sounds good and what doesn't for any given meal, and my preference can change by the hour. My biggest craving is potato chips with onion dip (I know, real healthy). I am definitely starting to show now. I'm pretty sure I was this big when I was 6 months or more pregnant with Kyler so that is a little scary but I haven't gained much weight at this point. Now we just have to make it through the next 6 months before we can finally meet this little one!

Here you can see a leg sticking up on the left, and the head on the right.

Hmm, thats a pretty high heart beat. The "gender myth" points to girl! :)

I was going to say the same thing about "Pat" being a girl. Plus you sound like you were pretty sick, which, according to other gender myths, means it's a girl. I'm so happy for you guys.
