What Baxter Has
Baxter sleeps with the kids. Myelle just came out of her room saying, "Mom, I was just wondering something that Baxter has. What does he have?" I said, "he doesn't have anything." To which she replied, "I was touching something Baxter has. What does he have?" Not knowing what to say I asked her, "was it his nose?" She said, "maybe it was his nose." Brett, trying not to laugh, said "don't touch Baxter's nose anymore" as she made her way back to bed. We'll never really know. Nor do we want to know.

Pretzel
Myelle named Grandma Tammy's new dolly... her name is Pretzel. She's very well cared for by Myelle, who also named Great Grandma GG's dolly Rapunzel.

Hair Twins
People often ask where Myelle gets her curls from. It's pretty obvious it's from the Brack side when she's with her cousin, Conley...
Icebox
Myelle pointed to the cooler and asked, "Can you move your icebox back over here?" Between this and her Charlie Brown obsession, I'm pretty sure she was born in the wrong decade, maybe even wrong century. Not sure where she even heard the word icebox...

Potty Training
Lately, we have had potty training going on around our house. Right before Myelle had her adenoids out and tubes in, she was doing really well for about a week. She was having some accidents but staying dry for the most part. Then she got the stomach flu and had bad diarrhea so I had to put diapers on her, and then the surgery and I was gone on vacation the following week so we kept the diapers going a little longer. When all that was over with, she was not responding well to going on the potty chair again.
One week I finally had enough and decided to give her a little tough love. It seemed to be working, although not always fun. We had been rewarding her with a couple of jelly beans for going potty and anything and everything for poop. If she refused to go, she got a diaper put on and put down for a "nap like a baby." If she blatantly goes in her pants, she got punished (spanked or whatever). She seemed to be resisting wearing underwear so I bought some pull-ups (even though I said I never would) hoping that would be a good transition between diapers and underwear. Eventually, this worked and she is now fully potty trained. She's even staying dry at night. This picture was taken after daycare one day. She got one sucker for good behavior and one for keeping her pants dry all day -- she had both opened before we pulled in the driveway.

Random Pictures
I took the kids to Kohls one day and as I was returning something, they found this giant Olaf and were pulling around the women's department.
This was Myelle's first time bowling. She wasn't really into it at all, but the tiny bowling shoes were adorable.
Shh... the baby is sleeping (under the blanket -- she always covers her doll's face with the blanket for some reason).
One day at lunch, the kids took it upon themselves to pray without being told.
Feeding her pink baby...
Eating pizza at Papa's store. This girl loves her pizza!
She thought she was pretty cool having her hand disappear in the dry ice bucket.
Dada reading bedtime stories to kiddos in jammies. So sweet! Makes Mama's heart melt.
Watch out for the gwubs! For some reason Myelle has always been a little afraid of gloves, so when she gets some she always tries to scare people.
I walked in the bathroom one day and she was making butterflies with these. Recently, Brett asked her to get him a band aid and she came downstairs with a pantyliner. Clearly we have some learning to do sometime before puberty.
Papa took Myelle on a bike ride. She rode her tricycle all the way around Community Drive (down Main Street, past the fair area and community building, and back on the access road between the swimming pool and high school). It was a long ride for a 2-year-old on a tricycle.

Stations of the Cross
I wanted to take Kyler to the living stations of the cross tonight and of course little sis wanted to tag along. I'm pretty sure she got more out of it than her brother. She asked lots of questions and was very concerned about the weeping women of the 8th station. She came home and told Brett, "We saw Jesus at church. He died. He's all gone. The ladies are really sad." But we also talked about how HAPPY they will be on Easter Sunday!!!
Update 4/30/15: Myelle did not forget about this. Each time we go to church she asks if Jesus and the ladies will be there.
