In fact, she would get mad when we grabbed her hand to slow her down when she got going faster. She obviously wasn't able to do a whole lot, like turn or stop, but she did stay upright (her low center of gravity is helpful here) and scoot herself around on her skis.
She wore out much earlier than Kyler but exceeded our expectations by far. I was sore the next few days from carrying her and her heavy ski boots. (I tried to carry her as much as possible so she wouldn't wear out so fast trying to get herself around.) For weeks after this she was constantly wanting to "go skeeting."
Update 02/2015: We took a trip to Colorado to ski and Myelle was not cooperative at all. She acted like a wet noodle any time we set her down. We later found out she was sick with hand, foot, and mouth disease and can only assume that's why she was uninterested.
