Holidays

Poor Myelle was afraid of Santa this year. We had to get the obligatory Santa picture though, so here it is:

The good thing was that Myelle loved opening gifts again this year. We first had the Olberding Christmas and as soon as she opened her new pink pants from Grandma Rita she had to have them on. She also loved her Snoopy and Woodstock plush toys from Aunt Sandy. Everyone loves that she is so into this retro cartoon! At the end of opening gifts, my cousin Traci had a special gift. It was an engagement ring! Myelle was way too into that diamond for someone who just turned two.

The kids also loved making Christmas cutout cookies. Myelle did really well with hers because she didn't realize she was allowed to eat the dough. Once she asked and I said she could, the cookie cutting was pretty much over!

Christmas morning the kids slept in. We waited and waited for one of them to pop up. Finally Myelle did and woke up Kyler. Out in the living room was a tent filled with presents!

Once we were finished opening gifts at our house, we were off to Grandma Tammy and Grandpa Charlie's. The kids enjoyed playing with their cousin Conley and breaking in the new recliners.

Kyler and Myelle also made it to 11:00 on New Year's Eve. They had a lot of fun celebrating with Mama, Dada, Grandma, and Papa in the basement. We stayed in this year since it was such a frigid night. Myelle watched the ball drop on TV, got kiss on the cheek from her amazing big brother, and partied it up!
