33 Week Ultrasound

We had some baby-related appointments on Friday. First, we had our pre-admission appointment at the hospital. Then an ultrasound. The baby is now head down with its back along my left side. It weighs around 4.5 pounds and is in the 37th percentile for weight (which is fine - they only get concerned if it is under the 10th percentile). The most interesting thing we found out is that this baby has a full head of hair right now. The sonographer could see what she described as a "white halo" and told us that that was hair. We had no idea what we were looking at so we just took her word for it. It will be strange to have a baby with a lot of hair since Kyler just had a little bit when he was born. Last was a doctor appointment. I found out that I've gained about 25 pounds so far but everything is looking great. Only six weeks to go! We are pretty much ready but not yet mentally prepared for what is to come.
